1.overview
Rizumu is a Japanese math rock album book created for music and design enthusiasts. The design of the book focuses on using geometric shapes like circles and lines to visually represent the sound and rhythm of the music, giving a sense of movement and flow.
Process
I began by researching different visual approaches to represent music and rhythm. Drawing inspiration from Japanese minimalistic design, I incorporated clean, geometric elements like circles and lines to evoke the feeling of music in motion. The minimalist style was essential in keeping the design visually striking yet simple.
3.outcome
The final design of Rizumu effectively captured the essence of the music through its minimalistic yet dynamic approach. I was able to experiment with shapes in ways I hadn't before, creating visually engaging and rhythmic designs. The project allowed me to push the boundaries of how music can be represented visually, resulting in a unique and creative experience for both music and design enthusiasts.
