I designed a bold and energetic mascot identity for Maryland Park Elementary School in Brandon, Manitoba. The goal was to create a logo that would appeal to energetic middle schoolers, using vibrant colors and a playful design that stood out.
Process
The design centered around incorporating the word "Lions" into the lion’s mane. I began with sketches to explore how the typography could blend with the mane strands. After refining my concept, I digitized the design, focusing on bold lines to create an exciting and energetic look. The chosen colour palette of orange, black, and white ensured the logo stood out, while I iterated on proportions to achieve a balanced and dynamic composition.
3.outcome
The final mascot design successfully captured the excitement and energy of the school community. By combining bold lines and a striking color scheme, I created a logo that stands out and connects with the students. The creative incorporation of the word "Lions" into the mane added a unique and fun touch, making the logo memorable and engaging.
